The Ick Files
Posted on Jul 26, 2010
Pets are a great pleasure and comfort. They are also a responsibility, which includes curbing them when they are outside, respecting the no pet rules in the play and pool areas and laundry rooms, using the dog patches, and definitely always picking up after them.
Tara Hill permits residents to have a pet, provides dog patches and trash bins in those areas for their needs, and welcomes them in our community. In return, pet owners must remember sanitary and health considerations are important, as well as aesthetics, when walking our pets. No one likes seeing or walking in dog feces left behind by an inconsiderate owner. The Tara Hills Rules and Regulations include these requirements and a fine can be assessed for any violation. If anyone is unsure of what the pet rules are at Tara Hill, check them out in your copy of the Rules and Regulations or on this website. If you see someone violating these rules, report the infraction to the office or security officer on duty. Such reports are always followed up on and the rules process utilized.
Let's not have Tara Hill suffer from the Ick factor. Always take your pet to the dog patch and pick up after them immediately. Use the trash bins at the dog patch areas so that trash bins at mail boxes and other trafficked areas don't get Icky either.
